It’s funny to see the right wing loonies attack Buffet. So their smarter than the third richest man in the world who happens to be a financial genius. Go back to reading about Sarah Palin and that other loon Perry.
To be the third richest man in the world he must be doing something right.

You will note Mr. Buffett (listed as the third richest man in the world by Forbes) doesn’t actually want to pay higher taxes himself. He’s been a strong donor to his party for many years to keep it that way. He doesn’t take it upon himself to write a check to the Treasury for what he thinks he should pay. Rather, he wants other rich guys whose politics differ to pay.
Want to save money? Repeal all new spending programs and 90 percent of regulations dating back to Sarbannes-Oxley. That will drastically reduce spending and stimulate the economy. Or perhaps you don’t want to save money but rather want more of other people’s money to spend on things important to you.
Do you really believe that (one of) the richest man in the world is really a “nice guy”?
If he wants to pay more in taxes, he can just write a check. No problem. And until he writes a check for billions to the US gov, rather than putting it in a tax shelter that keeps it away from the gov, he needs to be quiet and keep raking in his billons.
His interests and your and my interests are not the same.
You went soft on Buffett. He’s the biggest hypocrite when it comes to the death tax. The 2nd richest man gave his money to the richest man in the world to avoid the death tax. As a supporter of the death tax he could have merely waited to die and squandered his wealth. Of course he does support the death tax to destroy small business and farmers. Fortunately he sells death tax insurance to them in a back scratching deal with Democrats. Knowing that he supports destroying jobs and businesses it is no wonder that he is a Democrat.
One cop in a pro-union t-shirt and you want to call in the National Guard? What makes you think they will fight your paranoid battle against unions? Most of them have to work for a living.
There is a war going on and the Conservative-Republican-Tea Party folks are the unwitting foot soldiers (read-”Pawns”) in the Corporate march to takeover America. The goal of this “War” is to reduce America to a nation of serfs. Who’s side do you expect the police and the soldiers to be on? Here’s a thought, Carlos Slim is the richest man in the world. He’s from Mexico. Who says you can’t get rich in a country full of peasants?
